With the Havis Magnafire 3000 H.I.D., utility workers can now work more efficiently after dark with a high-output floodlight that operates directly off a vehicles 12-volt electrical system, eliminating the need for costly generators or inverters.
The Magnafire 3000 H.I.D. floodlight produces 4 times as much illumination as a halogen light, yet draws only 6 amps. The secret is the high intensity-discharge lamp technology combined with an electro-polished reflector to give the light a significantly brighter output than other 12-volt lights.
In independent laboratory tests, the Magnafire 3000 H.I.D. produced as much light intensity as some larger 350- to 500- watt 110-volt lights. The reflector has a unique parabolic shape with rounded corners that are designed to efficiently flood an area with uniform illumination over a wide 80-degree arc without wasting light or producing bright spots.
The new Magnafire 3000's simplified design enhances reliability, and a one-piece lens frame allows easy front access to change bulbs. The reflector is field replaceable and sent standard with a diffused reflector which is easily removable.
